Caloric intake for Sept 4

I'm going to keep track of what I've eaten.  If you see something that could easily be replaced, please, please do tell me!  Healthy options are nice... but sometimes I don't know how to make them on my own!

Sunday
I know I should be drinking mostly water, or at least Diet Pepsi, but it wasn't readily available over the weekend.  I don't think I'm brave enough to drink Washington DC tap water, either.  So, that's my excuse ^_^

Breakfast:
1 Large Fried Egg - 92 calories
2 Slices Whole Wheat Toast - 256 calories
12oz Pepsi (GROSS, I KNOW) - 150 calories

Lunch:
12oz Pepsi (GROSS AGAIN) - 150 calories

Dinner:
12oz Pepsi - 150 calories
Shake & Bake coating - 106 calories
1 1/2 lean pork chops (boneless/skinless) - 690 calories
1 cup mashed potatoes - 162 calories
1 cup frozen yellow corn - 161 calories
2 pat of salted butter - 36 calories

Total calories for the day: 1,952
Goal calorie for the day: 1,200 - 1,550

When I first started my "diet," I was eating over 2500 calories a day.  I'm slowly watching what I eat, but it's SO hard when you have a non-dieter boyfriend whom you live with.

I have a few ideas. Don't take them to heart though. Just random ideas that popped through my head.
Egg-Try egg beaters. I don't know much about them but I heard they are a lot lower in calories.
Pepsi-I would stay away from drinks like this in all forms. Regular pepsi will rot your stomach with its acid and diet will clog your arteries. (It is flavored with Splenda which sticks to your arteries and traps fat in dangerous places)
Try sticking to Green Tea and water.
Anyway, thats all I can think of right this second.

oooh, i had no idea that splenda did that. i thought it was a healthy alternative to sugar...

so you think i should stay away from splenda, too? i use it in a lot of things. bummer!

and don't worry about me taking it to heart. i am here because i really would enjoy the constructive criticism and help to plan a better diet.

the egg beaters always catch my eye in the grocery store. maybe i'll pick them up this grocery shopping trip!

Of course. I actually heard about a new (well old kinda) sweetner today!
Its called STEVIA its found in the diet section, all natural with zero calories. Couple drops sweets to perfection with no hidden chemicals to slowly kill you. Thats what I heard anyway. I haven't done any research yet nor tried it myself.

there is also Sweet Simplicity. it tastes pretty good and is a zero cal 100% natural sweetener.

although, i did put it in my coffee once and it wasn't so hot...
