9. What you hope to gain by joining FoodTrackers: I want some online buddies to root for me! All of my RL friends are guys and don't notice such things. >_>

More of a question than a comment! Lately I've been really into fitness, and I'm lucky enough to have a BowFlex and Excerise Bike. So, I try to ride about two miles a day, and every three days or so I do some weight training on my BowFlex. (unfortunately, my power rods on my BowFlex are broken, so instead of lifting 30 I'm lifting like..15. >_>) I don't exactly eat full meals, but I do some massive snacking all day long. My favorite secret is making little serving-sized snacks of healthy cerals and carrying them with me, baby carrots, apple slices, and bananas. Now and then I splurge and gorge myself on carbohydrates (I love pasta o_o). I was wondering if what I'm doing thus far will help me loose weight, or if my grazing will just inhibit it from happening. I've a lot of weight to loose, and I want to make the best of it!
So, in the interest of swapping ideas and spurring a discussion, what are you favorite snacking/diet secrets?
